Ireland will take on Wales in the Guinness Summer Series in preparation for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Dublin Fringe Festival

7th - 22nd September 2019


The Dublin Fringe Festival is an annual curated arts festival in Dublin, Ireland. The festival allows artists to submit their work via an application which is subsequently reviewed by the programme manager. The festival is open to both Irish and international participants.

16 days of Live Art, Comedy, Cabaret, Theatre, Circus, Dance, Music, and Talk.

This year the focus is on power and pleasure. When it comes to power, their seizing it, sharing it and speaking truth to it. Fringe recognises power in the quiet, the soft, and the patient, along with the primal, the furious and the muscular. As for pleasure, this year's festival offers dozens of art experiences that exhilarate and pulsate with joy. When the powerful and the pleasurable combine this September, it will make for the most memorable Dublin Fringe Festival ever.

Dublin Marathon 2019

The Dublin Marathon is an annual 26.2 mile marathon.

The course is generally reasonably flat. It starts at Fitzwilliam Square in the city centre and concludes at Merrion Square. Exact routing varies, although in recent years the race has proceeded in an anti-clockwise direction around the city including passing through the Phoenix Park before moving towards the southside suburbs.

With 25,000 expected runners, from 65 countries the race is the right size to give you that big race atmosphere.

The race is a single lap, starting and finishing close to the City Centre.

Dublin weather is usually ideal for marathon running, with average temperatures of between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius.
