A beautifully restored 1920’s cinema, The Stella is an iconic cim=nematic landmark in the heart of Dublin 6. Originally opened in 1923, it was Ireland’s largest cinema at the time, holding 1,283 patrons and featuring a ballroom and fountain in the foyer in true art-deco style.
The Stella mixes up its showings, from the latest blockbuster to classic favourites, all in incredible comfort. Instead of those standard cinema seats you’re used to, The Stella offers luxurious armchairs, comfy sofas, and even double beds in the front row. After the movie, head upstairs to the Stella Cocktail Club, where the ballroom has been transformed into a luxurious cocktail bar and relax with movie inspired cocktails on their outdoor terrace.
