Bat Out of Hell – The Musical, featuring Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf’s greatest hits is coming to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre!

The electrifying rock songs of Mr Steinman propel an epic story of rebellious youth and passion as Strat, the immortal leader of The Lost, has fallen in love with Raven, the beautiful daughter of the tyrannical ruler Falco.

Gilbert O'Sullivan

It was 1972’s Alone Again (Naturally) that sealed his fame, topping the USA charts for six weeks and garnering three Grammy nominations.  Soon after, he got his first three British number one hits with Clair, Get Down and LP Back to Front.  Gilbert was named “Songwriter of the Year” at the 18th Ivor Novello Awards, clocked another UK Top 10 hit with Why Oh Why Oh Why and in 1974 won a third Ivor Novello award.  More albums followed including the critically acclaimed Off Centre released by CBS in 1990 producing the international hit What’s In A Kiss as well as In the Key of G.

Gilbert has only risen throughout the years, receiving critical-acclaim worldwide, and to celebrate the release of his latest album, he will be performing a series of rare solo concerts around the world that will see him present new songs alongside all his classics such as Alone Again (Naturally), Nothing Rhymed  and Clair, in an intimate, acoustic setting.

My Fair Lady

My Fair Lady tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady”.  But who is really being transformed?

My Fair Lady includes the classic songs I Could Have Danced All Night, Get Me to the Church on Time, Wouldn’t It Be Lovely, On the Street Where You Live, The Rain in Spain, and I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.

This sumptuous production, featuring over 30 members of cast on stage and a full orchestra, is the first major revival of Lerner & Loewe’s much-loved musical on tour for over 15 years and a truly lovely way to celebrate the theatre scene back in bloom!

The Boys are back at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and telling the true-life story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical production: Jersey Boys which comes to Dublin this November.

La Traviata

La Traviata (‘The Fallen Woman’) takes place in Paris around the year 1850 and is the tragic story of a well-known beauty and courtesan, Violetta.  After a full life of parties and many lovers, she eventually finds true love.

The music is sublime with many well-known arias and choruses, and it is easy to see why La Traviata is the most performed opera in the world.  The National Opera Theatre BRNO from The Czech Republic will be performing in Dublin for the first time for this very special presentation, accompanied by The National Symphony Orchestra.

Estonian National Ballet - Swan Lake

For the first time in its 100-year history, the acclaimed Estonian National Ballet comes to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre this January with a full-length classic production of Swan Lake.  Accompanied by the Irish National Opera Orchestra, the season is strictly limited to seven performances only.

From the first immortal bars of Tchaikovsky’s score, The Estonian National Ballet’s Swan Lake beckons the audience to another world. The Rocky Horror Show

Der Rosenkavalier
