This was our first visit to Dublin and we throughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Canal Hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful and we loved the option of early check in for a fee of only $50 as we arrived at 7am from the US. Breakfast plan was well worth the money and not having to wander about wondering where to eat in the morning. Food was very good and great variety and very fresh! We would stay here again and recommend this hotel

Lovely spacious rooms, new bar area lovely and welcoming very good dinner and breakfast! Cafe very convenient for a coffee to go for the road home! Will be back again!

Fabulous air conditioned room. Excellent check in process. Room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in a city. We would highly recommend!!!

Myself and my wife had a fantastic stay in this wonderful Hotel. We'd booked a show in the nearby Bord Gais Theatre which is a short walk to, but anyone with mobility issues can use the Taxis from outside the front of the Hotel. Check in was quick and the receptionists were polite and helpful. Although it may be slower checking in if there is a coach party in front of you, but with three on the desk I'd say it wouldn't be too long a wait. The food and drink in the a joining bar was lovely, as we're all the staff. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable which led to a great night's sleep. The walk in shower was a bonus. Air conditioning made the stay even better. There was also free car parking at the back of the Hotel if you were staying there. Breakfast was lovely and the choice of food was great. Staff once again were polite and helpful. We hope to get to stay again, depending on future concerts in the Bord Gais Theatre. I'd recommend this Hotel to anyone thinking of enjoying a few days in Dublin for sporting or Theatre events.

The hotel is lovely and clean, the bathroom was particularly nice, and the desk staff were extremely helpful.

Initially I booked Grand Canal Hotel for convenience...it was the pickup/drop off spot for a Vagabond tour...I paid a scary amount for my first night via booking.com because all area hotels were full due to a nearby Oasis concert. . The hotel room so comfortable and the restaurant was just what I hoped for after a day on the road. Plus I found the staff to be very helpful staff before and during my stays....I opted to book directly through the hotel for my return stay based on the positive experiences I had at the hotel during my first stay, Without having requested it, I was rewarded on my second stay with a top quality suite to "compensate" me for having had to pay so much for the full occupancy price paid for my first stay. In short, the Grand Canal Hotel "delivered" on so many levels!!!

Despite being fully booked for the weekend, the staff were all very clam and helpful. The room was lovely and quiet too.

Fantastic stay, room was spotless, very comfortable bed, the receptioni area is welcoming and spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is very nice ambiance in the bar/restaurant area and the free parking if you book directly is a another nice bonus, we would definitely stay again

Wonderful hotel. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The front desk staff were especially helpful. We were very impressed. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The Grand Canal Hotel is an excellent hotel. The staff members are friendly and courteous. We had scheduled an early checkin-in for 9 a.m. and actually arrived at the hotel at 7:30 a.m. I had let the staff member at the desk know that we arrived and she said that she would let us know as soon as a room was available. The Grand Canal Express is located in the lobby where you can purchase coffees/beverages, pastries and even full breakfasts from their menu. The staff members are friendly and provide great service. We got coffees and the desk staff member came and got us at 8 a.m. to check into our room. How wonderful that was. Early check-in is only 50 euros and well worth it. Walking to where we wanted to go was not an issue so the location was great for us as it is in a quieter location. The room was in excellent condition as well.

I was happily surprised when my hotel room was ready hours in advance, and I was upgraded to a nicer suite! This made my long travel day so much better as I was able to have a nap before exploring Dublin! The front desk attendant was so kind as well. Breakfast was also delicious and filling! Great stay!

Stayed at the Grand Canal Hotel last year and this year for nine days. Since we have chosen it twice I think that’s a good recommendation on it’s on. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly thus making it a very pleasurable experience.
