Very happy with out stay in Grand canal hotel. All the staff were extremely helpful. Parking was available. Room was perfect. Cleanliness was brilliant. Rates are very competitive. Breakfast was lovely. Location is very good. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here.

Very nice room with a great shower. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Front desk agent (I think his name was Nicholas (his name badge said he was a trainee) was very helpful. He made great recommendations for activities and booked them for us.

My wife and I enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Grand Canal Hotel, following our Driftwood Tour of Ireland Tour. We both found the accomondations and service of all staff more then we expected and would certainly book another stay. Thanks from Canada!

The Grand Canal Hotel is a lovely hotel with great amenities. My room was very nice with a spacious bathroom and shower. Breakfast very good

Hi, I wanted to say the room was immaculate and I really liked the shower. Also the Java republic tea bags are really nice, a small thing but welcome. For myself the mattress was not great but after a serious spinal injury I have quite specific mattress needs and I don't expect other places to cater to them! The housekeeping and front of house reception team were very polite and helpful

My stay at the grand canal hotel was very pleasant. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. the breakfast on the next morning was delicious.

Unexpectedly excellent breakfast with great range of fresh fruits, seeds etc and cooked options. Very good customer service and the room was clean and spacious. There’s a free car park and the hotel is a max 20 minute walk to the centre of Dublin. The bed was a little hard, but other than that - top notch and we’d definitely stay here again.

The rooms were clean. The food was delicious. But more importantly, all the staff were very friendly and helpful!!! E

The rooms were beautifully finished, spotlessly clean and provided all the essential comforts. Staff were excellent: friendly and helpul across the board. Pricing for food/drinks in the hotel was very reasonable for a 4star Dublin hotel. Food and drinks were excellent - no need to roam further unless you wanted to. The location was great with easy access to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre/Aviva etc. There are lovely cafe's, eateries and conveniences nearby.

My husband and I found the hotel to be 100% perfect in every way. The location, the staff, the parking, the food, the room, the price everything was fantastic and I would recommend anyone coming to Dublin to stay there - I would definitely go there again

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and amenities associated with our room. The hotel staff was very helpful and securing taxes for us and installing our luggage both before and after we checked out. The bar staff was friendly and the food there was very good. The only improvement I could see being made would be to provide a larger garbage can in the room. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

I stayed at the Grand Canal Hotel from the 12/05/2026 to the 14/05/2026 in the lansdowne junior suite. From the moment I arrived at the hotel at 14:00 to arrange a bouquet of flowers which I'd requested to be set up in the room. The staff at the reception desk were lovely and had such huge smiles on their faces when I arrived and informed me that they had seen my request and were looking forward to fulfilling it. The Gentleman and Lady who assisted me were so sweet and honestly made me smile. They genuinely made me feel as though they were excited to help and make my stay as memorable as possible. We later checked in at 3pm and check in was very smooth and efficient. The room was beautiful, modern and clean. I was very pleased to see the bouquet set up on the table in the room. I really appreciated the staffs willingness to assist in anyway possible and the professionalism that came with it. We had requested room service throughout our stay and the meals were always delicious and we're brought to the room within a reasonable timeframe. We had also called reception to request a new set of sheets and it was brought quickly and as always the receptionist I spoke with was very nice and quick to solve the issue. Not once did I feel as though the hotel had delivered. The customer service was fantastic from check in to check out. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return and I would definitely recommend those who are thinking of staying at this hotel to do so. Thank you to the team at the Grand Canal Hotel for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable.

Our family stayed at the Grand Canal Hotel before we started an escorted tour. Had dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel. Service and food selection/quality were both very good. Breakfast buffet was outstanding, such better than expected and again the service staff were excellent.
