Lovely hotel, clean rooms, great breakfast looking forward to returning again

Had a wonderful sleep. lovely, very attentive staff. Parking is not guaranteed is a bit of a problem for those, like me, driving from a distance.

The Grand Canal Hotel was the perfect location for us to out each day on foot and see all the sites. We started each morning with a good breakfast downstairs. The host sat us and the table which was set with silverware, plates, coffee cups, cream and sugar. The breakfast self-serve buffet had everything an American tourist could want. We will definitely book here whenever we visit Dublin.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Canal Hotel and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The amenities at the hotel were perfect. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and had all the modern conveniences I needed. The hotel's location was also ideal. Situated near the Grand Canal, it provided easy access to my business activities, as well as some of Dublin's best attractions while still offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. Whether I was working, exploring the city or simply enjoying the surroundings, I always felt like I was in the perfect spot. Overall, the Grand Canal Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin, whether for business or leisure. It's a place where you can truly unwind and feel well taken care of.

Excellent hotel! Great staff, super friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast and the pub also great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a stay in Dublin that is not in a noisy and crowded part of town.

We have stayed in the hotel for the last few years as we have gone to the RDS and we never had a problem. This year however although we booked a double room we found that the bed was two single beds pushed together and it wasn’t a comfortable bed. My husband ordered a Guinness one night and the server just filled the pint straight to the top and brought it to him. It hadn’t even settled and when he said it to her that it isn’t the right way to pull a pint she laughed.

Helpful with an early check-in. Like having the coffee stand in the lobby for easy snacks. Gastropub was good.

Had a great time staying at this hotel! The food in the restaurant was delicious, and rooms were really nice and clean. Parking was so convenient, and was delighted that I was able to leave my car there for the day even after I had checked out. I stayed here for the Dublin Horse Show, and will definetely be booking again for next year !

We had a great stay for 3 nights at the Grand Canal Hotel while we attended the Dublin Horseshow It was a great location near to the RDS and the city centre great food lovely staff I have booked for next year

It was my first time to stay in this hotel. We went to a show in BORD GAIS THEATRE. I was impressed by the hotel. Very convenient location within walking distance to the theatre, Friendly staff, Cleanliness and Comfort of the bedroom/bathroom. We did not dine in the hotel as we had other arrangements made hence the rating of 4. I am sure it would have been a 5 if we had the opportunity to sample the menu!

Great location near aviva stadium and bord gais theatre. Friendly staff, nice room with good shower comfortable bed and pillows. excellent breakfast. parking onsite. will be back

Excellent staff and quality room

The staff were very helpful, especially when I was unwell during my stay. Small criticisms: the bathroom sink was very small with a strange shape, which meant we constantly had a little water dripping on to the bathroom counter and floor. It would be better if the hotel were more flexible allowing children to stay in the gastro pub/restaurant after 9pm. We were told that my 13 year old niece had to leave immediately after dinner. But overall very good and very helpful staff.

The staff was very accommodating. We had arrived with no luggage as the airline has misplaced it. The hotel was very helpful in quickly securing us a cab to get a few necessities and helping us get situated for a lovely dinner at the hotel after a stressful travel day.

Slight leak in the shower.Did mention this to reception. Really enjoyed our stay.

My stay at the Grand Canal Hotel was perfect! The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, the room was catered to such a high standard and for Dublin was reasonably priced. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great location, front desk staff were wonderful. We were able to walk all over Dublin even though this is not in the city center. Parking on site is available and the breakfast was excellent. The room was quite hot in July so we were grateful for a fan and that we could open the window. Great choice of a hotel for us.
